Prof. Walter Pintner (1931–2015), historian at the University of Cambridge. Two letters discusses a past meeting of B. Geremek and W. Pintner at the Cornell University and envisgaes the invitation for B. Geremek for 'Coloquim on Popular Culture in Europe and America from Medieval to Modern Times', organized by Professor Steven Kaplan. Another letter co-signed by Sara Pintner contains New Year greetings for 1981.
