Abstract
Prof. Paweł Dobrowolski (1954-), medieval historian and diplomat. Six letters discuss academic stays of P. Dobrowolski in Italy and report on the progress of his PhD thesis supervised by Prof. Geremek. Some of the letters were sent to B. Geremek during his imprisonment related to the martial laws in Poland (1981-1983), some of them are labelled as 'cenzored'.
