Content and Structure
ConCert (Forest Contractors Certificate of Competence) Project
The project main goal is to define the core competences fulfilling which the forest entrepreneurs will get the forthcoming certification, prepare a curricula and training modules suitable for contractors already in business and also trainees who want to be entrepreneurs, create a training material and the evaluation criteria for the trainers.
Also, To develop recommendations for a European entrepreneurs competences certificate as part of the EFECT process launched by ENFE in 2007 (EFECT = European Forest Entrepreneurs Certificate)
Participants and responsibilities:
the Coordinator of the project is Centre Forestier de la Région Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur (person responsible: Christian Salvignol), whose main responsibilities in the project are to coordinate the project, testing the training modules and disseminating the results.
ENFE is responsible for the integration of the results of the project to the wider sector certificate (EFECT) in Europe, and the dissemination of the results (person responsible Edgar Kastenholz)
KWF (Kuratorium fur Waldarbeit und Forsttechnik ) from Germany is responsible for defining the competences acquired to obtain the certificate (person responsible: Joachim Morat).
Tampere College, Finland is responsible for developing and writing the curricula, including evaluation materials and criteria (persons responsible: Helena Koskinen and Mikko Heikkila and MIkko Kukkola)
