Series including a significant set of correspondence conducted by Bronisław Geremek since early 1950s to 2008. It contains exchanges with leading historians of the Polish school of historiography affiliated at the University of Warsaw and the Polish Academy of Sciences as well as internationally-affiliated historians and scholars related to the French Annales school of historiography and beyond. The collection of letters cover, too, political correspondence of Bronisław Geremek with international public figures. A set of censored letters sent to Bronisław Geremek from his family and colleagues during his imprisonment during the martial law in Poland 1981-1982 is also available.
