Context
This collection comprises 10 original black-and-white drawings (20x30 cm) addressing EU themes. They were part of the Giuntina typography collection. Giuntina is an Italian printing and typography enterprise with a longstanding tradition in visual communication and design, rooted in the Passigli family’s legacy and noted for its innovative approach and craftsmanship. The original artist remains unidentified. The works were donated by Rebecca Passigli on behalf of the Passigli family.
The 10 original drawings were donated by Rebecca Passigli, acting on behalf of the Passigli family. These works were part of the Giuntina family’s typography collection and were preserved under the family’s custodianship. The documents were donated to the Historical Archives of the European Union (HAEU) by Rebecca Passigli, representing the family, under the terms of a donation agreement signed on 3 February 2025 in Florence, Italy, between Rebecca Passigli and the HAEU, represented by its Director, Dieter Schlenker. There is no prior information regarding the provenance of the drawings before their donation to the archive.

The collection consists of 10 original black-and-white drawings, each measuring 20x30 cm, created by an unknown artist and related to themes concerning the European Union, such as such as interculturality, education, border crossing and culture.
