COSPAR's historical archives were transferred to Florence in February 2024. The records cover the years from the creation of COSPAR (1958) to 2023. The records mainly cover the many events carried out by COSPAR, such as scientific assemblies, workshops, panels, numerous working groups, etc. Also present is a substantial amount of correspondence with member and non-member countries, partners and other organizations. Within the fonds it is also possible to find almost all publications created by COSPAR, such as reports of scientific assemblies, journals (Life science in space research, Advances in space research, advances in space exploration, etc.).
