Objectives of the Project :
To Validate the initial general training work carried out in 2002 on pre-accession measures with the ETARFs of Estonia, Latvia and Poland, by familiarising them with the mechanisms for applying the Structural Funds intended for the accession countries from 2004.
To initiate training work with the social partners in Lithuania, Slovakia and Hungary and help the ETARFs to develop contacts between partners with a view to general strengthening.
To support social dialogue and the integration of the social partners from the 6 accession countries into the European social dialogue structures, to strengthen their individual structures at ETARF sectoral level and to promote the adaptation of agriculture to Community agreements during the transition period and its future integration into the CAP.
To help develop a spirit of entrepreneurial responsibility and respect for the fundamental social rights of the social partners within the framework of the European social model.
