ENFE - European Network of Forest Entrepreneurs
The European Network of Forest Entrepreneurs (ENFE) was a representative organization for entrepreneurs offering services in forest operations across Europe.
Key Functions and Activities:
- Information Dissemination: ENFE facilitates the exchange of information between its members and with key opinion formers in Europe.
- Economic Development of SMEs: The network coordinates actions to promote the economic growth of SMEs in the European forestry sector.
- Training and Mobility: ENFE encourages the development and adoption of training programs that promote workforce mobility within Europe.
- Representation: ENFE acts as a representative organization for forestry contractors at a European level.
In 2014, ENFE merged with CEETTAR, resulting in a stronger and more representative single organisation representing land-based contractors at EU level.
