Content and Structure

Abstract

The film describes the working and living conditions – often full of privation – for Italian migrant workers in Belgium who were recruited on the basis of the Treaty of Rome. In contrast with most of the other Italian information film about the European integration process, this documentary adopts a more realistic approach.
