Abstract
The Committee on Radio Astronomy Frequencies (CRAF) was established in 1988 to coordinate radio astronomical activities, and was particularly concerned with keeping the frequency bands used for radio astronomy free from interference.
The Committee is made up of representatives of the major radio astronomical observatories in Europe.
They were meeting twice a year, and after 2012 once. The Committee assisted the Inter-Union Commission on the Allocations of Frequencies for Radio Astronomy and Space Research (IUCAF).
