Content and Structure
This fonds reflects Graham Watson's lengthy career in both British and European politics. It includes election materials, official statements, papers, correspondence, and administrative documents relating to the multiple aspects of Watson's political career. It covers Watson's work as an MEP from 1994-2014 in the South West England and Gibraltar constituency, the numerous election campaigns he was involved in throughout his career, conferences and meetings in which he took an active role in and, a number of publications in which Watson either authored himself or contributed to. The fonds provides an invaluable insight into the Liberal movement in both a British, European and wider international arena, as well as Watson's contributions within that context.
Original order has been maintained.
The Historical Archives worked closely with our European Parliament colleagues in the Luxembourg Archives since other Watson papers have been deposited there.
