Abstract
The file contains draft proposals and the final draft presented to the 1993 General Assembly for the report on the strategic reappraisal of the ESF named "ESF: The Next Decade – A Reappraisal of ESF’s Strategic Mission". It includes contributions and comments by member organisations, ESF committees and ESF staff in the form of correspondence and position papers. Also included is an exchange of letters between Pierre Papon (Ifremer) and Prof Kordon (Inserm) with ESF officials on the subject of the position paper "For a Reappraisal of ESF Specificities".
