Abstract

At an Alpine resort, children of various nationalities, on vacation with their parents, engage in a contest about the best snow castle. At first, they do not understand each other, and national rivalries come up. But when a little English girl is accidentally hurt, they decide to cooperate to win the prize in order to by her a huge box of chocolate from the local candy store. The film is charming, especially in the way it is narrated. You see only the feet of the adults until the humorous final frame, who start to argue with each other. "… mais ceci, est un autre histoire", the last rolling text concludes.
