The documents contained in the EYF fonds were desposited at the HAEU under the terms of a deposit contract signed on 28 February 2001 between, on the one hand, the 'Forum européen de la Jeunesse' and the 'Forum Jeunesse de l'Union européenne', represented by their Secretary-General Mr Tobias Flessenkemper, and, on the other hand, the HAEU, represented by their Director Jean-Marie Palayret.

The first group of documents transferred in November 2013 pertains to the meetings of the EYF governing bodies and to the EYF activities between 1999 and 2002.
