After that, the interviewee spoke about his activities in the European Commission, particularly the DG Social Affairs, the Forward Studies Unit and the DG Agriculture. In this context, his comments on the EC/EU migration policies and the reform of the European governance are particularly valuable; remarks on external events that left their mark on the European Commission, including the rise of the neoliberal ideology and the Eastern enlargement of the European Union, are also worthy of note.
