Ivana Maletić was born on October 12, 1973, in Šibenik, Croatia. She is a Croatian Democratic Union politician who served as Member of the European Parliament from 2013 until 2019.
Maletić is a graduate of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb, and before her election, she held various positions in the Croatian Ministry of Finance and was a member of the team that negotiated Croatia's accession to the EU.
She was a member of the European Parliament between 2013 and 2019.
In this period, she was a member of Group of the European People's Party (Christian Democrats) and national party Hrvatska demokratska zajednica (Croatia). She was also a member of Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs, Delegation to the EU-North Macedonia Joint Parliamentary Committee and Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs.
She was a substitute to Committee on Regional Development, Delegation to the EU-Montenegro Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee, Delegation to the EU-Serbia Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee, Special Committee on Tax Rulings and Other Measures Similar in Nature or Effect, Committee of Inquiry to investigate alleged contraventions and maladministration in the application of Union law in relation to money laundering, tax avoidance and tax evasion, Committee on Budgets and Committee on Regional Development.
