Prof. Brian Reddaway was educated at Oundle School and King's College Cambridge where he studied Economics. Aside from his academic work, Reddaway worked at the Board of Trade from 1940-47 and in 1951 got a sabbatical from the Clare College, Cambridge where he taught as a Fellow, to the post of Economic Director of the OEEC. After a year there Reddaway went back to Britain to continue his teaching work in the Department of Applied Economics at Cambridge. He was appointed Economic consultant to the World Bank in 1966.
