Abstract
The file consists of documents regarding the preparation and the carrying out of the 8th Jean Monnet Lecture (inauguration of the Historical Archives of the European Union). It also includes booklets in English, French, German and Italian of the keynote speech delivered by the Foreign Minister of Italy Giulio Andreotti at the EUI on 23/11/1985: "European Union: One Character in Search of an Author" and the exhibition catalogue "Il rilancio Europeo" from the Messina Conference of 1955 .
