Abstract

ESTRACK was one of the most important engagements of ESRO. Efficiency's test were screened in order to choose n.4 centres among the candidatures of : Redu, Fairbanks, Ny Alesund, Port Stanley, Brétigny, Hammagur, Pretoria, Ouagadougou and Brazzaville. The first n.4 were choosed. All the activities of the n.4 centres had to report to the Control Centre, previously located in Noordwijk, afterwards in Darmstadt.
