Finance Committee
Abstract:
Before the expiration of ELDO in 1975, the Finance Committee met n.64 times. Due to the undeciding role of the Council, the Finance Committee became the main decisional board, having to organise the expenditure for the programmes. Also for this purpose, it met often jointly with the Technical Committee. The serie includs also documents of a short-living Ad-hoc Finance Group, which acted in 1971 and 1972.

Abstract:
A particular thematic sub-serie is devoted to the Perigee Apogee System (PAS) satellite, which became the main target of ELDO after the political solution in 1966 of the UK crisis. Under the initiative of France, which granted its facilities of Kourou in Guiana, the PAS project, inserted in the EUROPA-2 programme, became the core of ELDO activities up to the liquidation.
