During the 1970's and 80's, CENYC actively participated in the youth work of the United Nations as it formed part of the non-Governmental Organisations community. The Geneva Informal Meetings of International Youth Non-Governmental Organisations (GIM) are a consultation body to the United Nations, whereas the Working Group of the Collective Consultation of Youth Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO) is associated to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO). This series contains files on the meetings of these bodies.;CENYC's relations with the European Communities were rather poor. In this series there is mainly information on the efforts to establish a permanent "European Liaison Secretariat of the Non-Governmental Youth Organisations in the European Communities" organised in the 70's by the European Communities and involving CENYC.
