Context
The UACES original archives (from approximately 1967 to 1997) have been deposited at the HAEU under the terms of a deposit contract concluded between the UACES, represented by their Elected Chair, Helen Drake, and the HAEU, represented by the Director Dieter Schlenker, which was signed on 25 September 2015 and 22 October 2015 respectively.
Content and Structure
The UACES fonds consists of the documents produced by the administration of the Association and mainly comprises the minutes of Committee and Officer meetings as well as reports on the Annual General Meetings of the Association.
Conditions of Access and Use
The UACES has stipulated a 15-year rule on access to their files. However, some confidential documents have been removed and shall be closed for longer periods.
Academic utilisation and partial reproduction in the form of digitised photographs of the documents is authorized in accordance with the provisions in force at the HAEU.
