Material concerning the work of the Task Force for Enlargement in preparing for the accession negotiations with Austria, Sweden, Finland and Norway and the various points in the draft chapter which required clarification.
The final result of the Work in 1992by the Enlargement Task Force of DG 1, of which Graham Avery was director, was the Commission's report "Europe - The Challenge of Enlargement" for the Lisbon Summit of June 1992. A large number of internal documents were generated and distributed to the Steering Group (STEN) presided by Frans Andriessen and these concerned the whole range of potential members, not just EFTA countries, and dealt with institutional questions.
